| These are 400cc Suzuki engined flat track bikes which are ideally suited to both beginners and more experienced riders. In fact, a version of this bike won the Shorttrack Championship in 2006 in the hands of Lee Complin. They are in full flat track spec, ie. no front brake. Yes, we only run with a rear brake in flat track, ignition cutout lanyard and either Maxxis or Dunlop dirt tyres. | |||

For riders who are under 16 years of age we use the CCM C-XR230. This is the same bike that is used in the CCM Junior Shorttrack Championship. It is based on the CCM C-XR230 road bike and suitably converted to Flat Track spec. As with the 400cc bikes they run no front brake, ignition cutout lanyard and Dunlop dirt tyres. |

| Both bikes are ideal to give new riders to Flat Track the confidence to learn the sliding skills needed to ride the ovals. | |||
